Anna grew up in Iowa before moving to Oregon at the age of 9. She has one older brother who lives in Oregon and is in a band called Typhoon who is based out of Portland, OR. Her dad works for the State of Oregon and her mom is an English teacher at a university in their area.


Anna was involved in many music activities in middle and high school. More information regarding that can be found on the education page of this site. 


She is scheduled to graduate from Eastern Illinois University in May of 2013 with her Bachelors of Music Education. Her student teaching experience is being held in Grahamstown, South Africa. She is very excited for the experience of being abroad. There is a  blog attached to this website, chronicling her time spent abroad (South African Adventure).


Anna is unsure of what will happen after graduation, but she is planning on getting a Masters of Music Therapy in the near future and pursuing Music Therapy as a career.
